What is the mai opportunity fund?
The MAI Opportunity Fund (MOF) is how we fund and scale our work and impact. It brings together a small group of partners who invest directly in young people affected by housing instability - supporting their visibility, access and long-term trajectory.
HOW It works
We don’t run disconnected initiatives, we build a pipeline of transformation:
Identify → Elevate → Invest → Transform
Identify young people through schools and youth organisations
Elevate through recognition and visibility (The Salute)
Invest through mentorship, paid experiences, and micro-grants
Transform access, confidence, and opportunity

Engagement through the Thrive Space Programme
Access to new environments and experiences
Micro-grants at critical moments
Ongoing support and exposure
These are not abstract interventions—they are targeted moments that shift trajectory.
Partnership Levels
We are currently onboarding a small number of founding partners.
£5,000 — Founding Partner
Supports 5–8 young people
£10,000 — Core Partner
Supports 10–15 young people
£20,000+ — Lead Partner
Supports 20+ young people with deeper engagement
